My 1981 124 does not always have all four idiot lights on when the ignition key is turned on. Repeatedly turning the key on and off will eventually result in all lights illuminating and the car starts right up. Sometimes the car just goes dead when traveling down the street or when warm. Car runs great when running. I have heard this might be a bad wire in the distributer.
Anyone have an idea? 51,000 mile survivor car.
