my turn signal only works when I push in hazard button hazard does not work I installed new relay still not working there is a plug with seven wires that go in to switch also one wire that goes to middle of switch which color is that wire diagram does not tell you would appreciate any help thank you 80 fiat spyder

got flasher to work but only when hazard button pushed in check wiring at hazard switch and found no power at red wire it comes from fuse box to socket then to hazard switch what do they mean when they say socket would appreciate any help
 
Some models of Fiat cars had an inspection socket just under the lower edge of the dashboard to allow an inspection lamp to be plugged in.

The wiring diagrams on Fiats varied over the years so you need to be careful following a diagram unless you're sure it's correct for your exact car.

I can't see a plug with 7 wires anywhere in the turn indicator/hazard warning circuits in any of the wiring diagrams I have access to. Can you provide any further info on where this plug is situated and what color wires are going to it and in which positions? Also which switch are you referring to when you ask which color wire goes to the centre?

The turn signal switch on the steering column usually has 3 wires - centre is often violet and is the live feed, blue goes from switch to right turn signals, blue/black goes to left turn signals.

thanks will check that tomorrow found wire that goes to middle of hazard switch its black
