I am going to be starting my 76 spider 5 spd build early next year. I have most all the parts i need minus a few. I have a built Lancia delta head that will bolt unto my 80 2ltr built block with everything calculated to approximately 320-350 hp at the rear wheel depending on boost etc.

My question is how much HP can the drivetrain handle?

There’s a rubber vibration dampener almost exactly behind the shifter under the car. This rubber piece goes bad over time my disintegrated and made an aweful broken driveshaft noise. Anyways, autoricambi sells an oem version and a beefier racing one. At over 3x the factory hp you’ll need either the racing version or possibly just a metal adapter. Take the vibrations to the spine because idk the specs on a rubber donut. (It’s called a guibo)
