I'm obviously a new member ... don't even know if this is the right place this question ..... name is carpoor ... I have a 75 Spyder and if you know how hard it is to unlock the trunk you'll know that extra keys are needed ... when opening the key turns to the right ,,, that is if it doesn't break off ... I need to jump the car now to get a new battery , which of course is in the trunk .... I have jiggled, sprayed with silicone , pounded while turning, and everything else I could think of ,, ANY IDEAS???

Same issue here...I gutted my trunk lock cylinder (removed the tumblers) a long time ago and now simply use a small screwdriver to open the trunk. I keep my "trunk key" aka screwdriver, in the glovebox. LOL Got sick of breaking keys (or feeling like I was going to break it).

Hello, in my 79 spider, the previous owner installed a trunk release cable and routed it into the back of the car. Just pull the end like how you would a hood release lever and it opens.
