I have a 1974 124 spider that I'm preparing for body work and new paint. Does anyone know how to remove the outer door handle? I have already removed the door panel and removed the inner bolts holding the handle in place, but I can't see how to disconnect the linkage connecting to the door latch. Any suggestions are welcome.
