I have a tricky situation and are not able to find out what's wrong with our little beauty.

Our Spider 2000 Inj - 80 mod. starts and run Perfect until it become warm (Not overheated), than it just stops like it not get gasoline. When cooled down it starts and run smoothly again for another 1/2 hour.

The car have bin running nice for years suddenly this happend after changing the oilpressure indicator and ignition switch (It worked as normal a couple of days (3-4 hours drive) after changing the parts)

Do any of you know whats might be wrong? Tha car have bin at a Fiat garage for a long time and they are not able to locate what that couse this situation.

(10-15 years ago the exsaust was modified and the cat. removed)

When it stops have you checked for spark?

Do you have points or electronic ignition?

Does the rev counter suddenly stop working when the engine cuts out?

Just solved the same problem with my 1981. It was the fuel pump and fuel filter. Fuel pump gets hot and stops working, cools off and works
