Here's a couple of pages from the Spider workshop manual, and a 2000 timing diagram. I believe all the early Lampredi "Twink" engines are timed the same.
Fiat used a jig to lock the auxiliary pulley. You can do it without the jig by setting the timing hole in the auxiliary pulley at 33° North-East. If it's not set correctly, the mechanical petrol pump lobe on the auxiliary shaft can collide with the number 2 con-rod. The lobe is still there even on some engines with electric petrol pumps.
