I had been smelling gasoline when I was driving my car. My husband pops the hood and finds that one of the hoses that connects the fuel injector rail to the cold start cylinoid was split and leaking gasoline like crazy! We can not figure out how to get the hose off to replace it. Can someone please tell me how to do it? We were able to get the clamp by the cold start cylinoid off, but the end that's connected to the fuel injector rail is the one we're having a difficult time getting off. I would really appreciate any help. Thanks!

One takes a box cutter type knife and cuts the hose. Then you have to cut vertically right down to the base where it joins to the rail. Might have to take a small screw driver to dig all the old hose out. pull old ring off.
Remember to get proper hose for replacement this has 35-40 psi in it and normal hose does not stand up. I think it was 7 mm inside fuel injector hose. Use proper injector clamps as well, normal hose clamps pinch and can provide uneven pressure on the hose, not what you want with the high pressure. The fittings have "barbs" on them, thats why it is difficult to just pull off.
Good luck really an easy fix compared to others
