I'm going to look at a 73 850 spyder that a guy has had for 20 years. It is not rusty and the interior is all there and in good shape. He has driven it about 50 miles over the last 10 years. It has sat for the last 4 years. I've owned old Alfa R's so I have some idea of the issues I'll face but I need some help. I'm worried about the fuel tank. It looks like these are nt available abymore. He also claims the brakes are froze and it needs new brake lines. Could this be a great problem orminor issue with an 850?

Is it worth it? What should I look at in the morning when I se the car?

thanks.....ferg

hey, its probably alittle too late. but the 850 is an awesome car. im in the process of restoring one myself.

i think you should buy this car in a heart beat. if not give me his number and ill buy it LOL.

anyways look to see if it runs, if not try to turn the motor by hand. if it turns then you can rebuild the motor which is a plus. as far as pieces go, there is a online store as well as ebay store called: everything fiat.

you can just google that, he has everysingle piece to build a new fiat from scratch so rest assured.

thanks - lots of luck
