Hi there. I have a 80 124 spider fi. I have rebuilt the car over the past two years and am happy for the most part. I would like a bit mor zip from the engine though. I had the flywheel shaved(about 4-5 pounds) and from about 65 kmh(Canada) I don't need to downshift to get up and going. I have a 1800 head and am wanting to put the larger valves in. I have a shop nearby that specializes in heads and valves and things and am wondering if anyone out there has a similar set-up and a noticable increase in pep. I believe the stock engine was around 105 hp and I would like to do enough to find around 120 hp.
Headers ? Pistons? cams?
