I have a 1982 Fiat Spider 2000. The Radiator fan will not come on. I checked all electrical connections and everything seems to be connected OK.
The only other thing I can think of is it needs a new Radiator Fan Switch. I can order one from International Auto Parts for $17.55 and will probably order one next week. Any advice anyone can give me as to something that I may have missed will be appreciated. My email is [email protected] I bought the car about 6 months ago and the fan worked fine until just recently.

Thanks.

To be honest, I am not much of a mechanic...I traced all the wiring and I couldn't tell you if it was wired direct or not. I do know that everything is connected. Usually, my friend works on the car for me and I am learning as I go.

I meant if you wire the motor directly to the battery does it work? You can also try shorting the plug that connects to the rad(switch)and see it it starts(if it does the switch is defective:D

Naturally, it was not the fuse (that would have been too easy!). I ordered a radiator fan switch and will give that a try come this weekend.

Thanks for the suggestion.
