In the US spec 124 cars, the rear fog light lens exists, but has no bulb sockets.

I would like to activate them. In order to do this, I have ALREADY INSTALLED two sockets and bulbs in the empty areas.

Now, The wiring for the rear fog lamps already exists, it is "parked" in a dummy socket.

The problem is that I cannot seem to get power to that existing wiring. When I activate the front fog lamps via the factory switch, NO POWER appears at the existing REAR fog wiring.

Both fuses 27 and 29 are OK, they are labeled "FOG LIGHTS" and "STOP / REAR FOG LIGHTS" respectively.

So, my question is.... Is there some OTHER fuse not shown in the US spec manual which needs to be installed in order to continue power on to the existing rear fog wiring?

OR, lacking that info, has anyone found a PATH THROUGH the convertible top well in which to run a new switched wire? I've poked around for hours, and can't seem to find a clear path from the trunk into the vehicle interior.....

Thanks !

If the 124 is anything like other modern FIATs, the fog lights are not controlled by a simple switch and relay system, but rather by the body computer - the switch sends a signal to the body computer, and it in turn switches the relevant relay(s). In other vehicles (from experience with the Grande Punto) if the vehicle was not supplied with fog lights, then the body computer will not be configured to accept input from that switch.
It may be possible to reprogram the body computer, but that's beyond my ken.
The simpler option would be to use an aftermarket switch.
