Hi, y'all...... New to this forum, with 2019 124 Spider.

Question: I have searched the manual, cannot find any info on the Hill Holder function. I am trying to DISABLE this silly feature....... I've been driving stickshift for 50 years, and that feature is dangerous!

Just use the handbrake and don't hold the footbrake
It wont activate then

Thanks for the suggestion, but I was hoping for a permanent fix. Maybe I'll see what they say on the Miata Forum.................. I'll pass it along if I find something....

I doubt the Miata guys will have a solution, different engine so different management system. You might be able to disable it with MultiECUScan, I'd recommend having a trawl of their forum.
