jUST wondering has anybody any information as to how reliable the new
multiair system is.I have heard of one person having to get the multiair
system changed 3 times,any information appreciated before I consider purchasing a fiat with the multiair system.

I have the 1.4 multiair turbo @140 bhp fitted in my 2011 Delta.
With over 48k miles on the clock, Iv had no issues whatsoever......
The car is ex FCA staff car, and I understand that in its 36k miles driven by their people....it had no warranty work.
The most important item to bare in mind is the correct oil HAS to be used...........
It is a remarkable engine that is flexible with very good economy.i average about 48 mph in winter, and over 50 + in summer.
Have a look at the Chrysler forum (Delta)........maybe the Alfa Romeo forum too?

Euro 6 MultiAir engines use ONLY 0W30 C2 synthetic oil.
I believe it's important to change it more often than scheduled, toghether with filter of course.
We drive a 2016 Alfa Giulietta Sprint 1.4 Turbo MA 170HP.
