Does anyone have a 1300 block that has the 80mm bore size? 1st generation X19s 1300 had 86mm bore but some of the 2nd generation 1300 engines had 80mm bore (and some had 86.4). I am only after a 80mm bore block. Condition does not matter. Block could also come from some 128 or Uno Mk1 Turbo.
Any help would be appreciated.

My source of wisdom (wikipaedia Fiat 128 sohc) tells me that no X1/9 ever had 80mm bore.
If 80.5mm is good enough, you could try to find a Tipo 1.4. Or a Uno 60 (1100cc).

I don't mind 80 or 80.5 bore. This is for a race engine for an X19 in the under 1400cc category and I want to have more torque than 86mm bore would produce. What block the car it comes from I don't really care and it will be re-machined so the condition is not very important (except no holes in the block!). The list below gives a guide as to which cars are likely suspects if the internet is correct. Bore size on some 1300 X19s was a lottery as even the main dealers doing a de-coke service would be supplied with 2 headgaskets to cover the different sizes.

Bore 80.5mm with a 1400cc limit would leave you with the 67.4 stroke (= 1.4 tipo engine) as a logical choice. Maximum bord might be 83.48, but that would require custom pistons...
Remember that this will be quote a long-stroke version of the engine, so it might be not as rev-happy as you are used tot now, despite tuning.
Using the 86 bord with a 55 stroken would result in about 8% higher power due to much higher revs (depending on the regulatory allowed tuning). 86mm allows for bigger valves, but might also enable you to use the 16v-head which would give even more possibilities.
