I am having problems keeping my 1981 x 1/9 Bertone running. It starts right up but bogs down and stalls out after about 4 seconds. I have changed the fuel, Fuel filter, Fuel pump, Fuel pressure regulator, fuel hoses, ect. Does anyone know what the issue may be? My next step was to pull the injectors. The car is in great shape with no rust issues, but has been sitting for several years in a climate contolled garage. Thanks in advance.

Try taking the air filter out and then try it.
I had this very same issue with mine years ago, and found that the air filter was blocked.
Also it may be a running to rich after start when the engine warms up.
Air/fuel mixture issue?

Air filter is out. It runs on starting fluid, so I am guessing a definite fuel issue. I believe the injectors are clogged or seized from sitting so long. Thanks for your input.

Hi,
I suspect the fuel vapours have now dried to a "lacquer",

SOAKING parts in fresh fuel ( and minor Ultrasonic cleaning) MAY restore normal service,
