General banjo thread size

I have recently brought some new stainless steel brake hoses, however the banjo supplied are 10x1mm, they do not match the thread sizes of my Fiat X19 callipers,I have also tried some 10x1.25, these also do not match.


I have now tried some 3/8 24tpi these seem to be a very good match.Surely the thread size should be metric, not imperial.


I could do with some advice.

This old thread days the rear callipers are 3/8ths fine thread. I guess the design was from an earlier car?

You are absolutely spot on, it would appear the front callipers also use the 3/8unf 24tpi.
