Hi, I have just had the rear brake calipers overhauled with s.s. inserts and new pads, on my 1978, X19 and installed them back in today .
I am trying to bleed the brakes but am getting no fluid out of the driver's side. Fluid is coming out of the passenger side.
When I disconnected the rear brakes hoses I lost very little fluid and the reservoir has been full all the time
I have tried a vacuum pump but that has not worked.
They were working OK before I had them overhauled .
Any suggestions ?? Antony

Do you have a 'hard pedal'?

Has the bleed valve seized?

Have you tried replacing the bleed valve?

I would first check the condition of the brake lines from the t-connection at the back, then I would disconnect the brake hose and see if fluid comes out when you push the pedal. Make sure the reservoir is full and that the hose end is in a jar with fluid, otherwise you'll just fill the system with air.
