Hello all, im looking at modifying the brown wire to fit a relay in the fuse box so the brown wire running to the ignition switch only triggers the relay and just running the wire from the battery to the relay, then to the fusebox.

the questions I have are, what amperage relay should I use? Was thinking a 70amp. Also what amperage cable should I order to replace the brown wire from the battery? And finally what amperage should I use to replace the ground on the battery?

Thanks all

Hi: If you've got the wiring diagram for the car you can probably find the wire gauge from there, a 70 amp relay should do fine. The battery earth cable you can buy ready made so you won't have to worry about gauge.
If you take a look at www.autosparks.co.uk you should find everything you need & usually at better prices than your local parts suppliers.
