Hello everyone. I recently bought a project X1/9 that has been sitting for several years without use. I decided to pull the carb to give it a good cleaning. All hoses and wires are disconnected along with the four corner nuts on the carb base and throttle linkage. With all of this removed the carb is loose, but feels like there is still something holding it to the intake manifold in the center. Anyone have any idea what the problem may be? Thanks for any help

Got it figured out. It was actually sealed tight to the old gasket and heat plate. Two people lifting couldn't even break it loose. In the end it took beating it with a rubber mallet and prying it up with a small pry bar.

Three special Fiat tools nobody should be without, vice grip, large hammer and a cold chisel, I rest my case my lord!
