I recently took my xxy to a local track day and when i was in the middle of my second lap we noticed smoke coming from exhaust silencer. I stopd and realisd that there was a serious leak between the engine and gearbox, i confirmed its gearbox oil nw my question where cld it been leaking 4rm. The driveshaft seals are intact so is it possible that my gearbox is cracked or somethng? Any suggestions will greatly be appreciated

It is either the crank seal on the engine or the driveshaft seal on the gearbox. It could also be leaking down the block from the head gasket, into the bellhousing and then out again...

I removed the engine and gearbox and found a small hole near the diff side of the gearbox, and the funy thng is wat caused the crack, aparently the starter front bushng fell into the bell housing and wedged against the wall with the pressure plate, i found the pieces at least we can rebuild the car, B-) thnx
