Anyone have experience replacing the rear window?

It's been a very long while but I don't remember it being even vaguely difficult.

Just take the engine cover off and you'll find a bolt-on panel behind it that holds the glass in. The hard part is getting the spring back on the engine cover - its only when you try to put it back that you really how much strength it has!

That's what we thought. It makes the job a little more difficult. We just acquired a 1975 that has been sitting for 20 years, and are looking forward to beginning a restoration. The wheels were frozen, but with wd40 we got them loose and the car is now on the trailer ready to head home.

Got any suggestions for us?
