Applying a dump valve on a X1/9

hey all....

yes you are prob thinking why would you wanna put a dump valve on a X1/9 for....BTH i love the noise they make!

So i am asking if anyone nows if there is a Dump Valve for a X1/9....and what do i have to do to my engine to fit one..

Do you have a turbo engine fitted already?

not at the moment....i saw a turbo on ebay (wat was a fiat uno turbo) wat went for £10 so i was thinking of buying one of them...

wat would i have to do to the engine to fit one.....
Fiat/Bertone X1/9 1982 1500cc

A Mk1 Uno Turbo engine basically just bolts in (not quite that simple but not far off), you need the cam housing from your original engine and the uno turbo gearbox internals in the X1/9 housing.

It all fits in the engine bay (tight fit) and requires a little bit of fabrication with the metal parts of the induction pipework and the exhaust.
