fiatdownunder i have no pic of my car with standard air filter as when i bought it half the engine was in cardboard boxes!! so i went for the fiter you see on my car, originaly made for cosworth Mahhhoooosive!!!!, took a while to fit by moving the rad 3 inches left, chopping the afm bracket to bits and redesighning it, rewelded to lower the afm a good 6 inches as was going through the bonnet now has cold air feed from the bottom and the 3 inch gap at the side of rad with extra holes made in support it virtualy sucks air through the grill cant see you getting more cold air on the filter, i know you want to use the original piping and go near the os headlamp, even then everyone sticks a cone filter on the end and ditch the air box, maybe you could put a bend in aim down lower but risk of water etc sucking up and all the piping (restrictive) have a play about but i'm very happy with my install its cool!!!! http://groups.msn.com/TurboCollective/membersunos.msnw?action=ShowPhoto&PhotoID=190 a pic of original pipe but no airbox!

i cant bend it down as i have an oil catch can down in the bottom N/S where it would bend. not to worry, i shall figure it out somewhere along the line!
