Tempting. Dunc: how does the price compare with your setup?

I don't really see a problem with my brakes as it is, but those would fill out the space within 15" wheels nicely. Someone told me that you get more modulation and control with bigger discs, since the pads don't have to 'squeeze' as hard to give the same braking effect. I find my wheels don't lock too easily anyway, and the brakes are more than capable of bringing the car down from 170km/h to 50km/h (on a track) repeatedly without fade. I guess that's because I shelled out for 'race' pads ;)

It must be interesting buying pads for these sorts of conversions... how would you know what pads to get? Obviously you order them from the same outfit with the kit, but pity the poor next owner who goes to a parts shop and tries to look up 'Uno Turbo'... :D

be easier to look within the fiat range,eg coupe calipers.
no changing brake unions and far easier for spares/pads.
to give oyu an idea i was on VVOC forums yesterday and one guy was looking for new discs for his vectra ST200 which had AP brakes fitted as standard.
£550 per pair for discs!!! and AP have stopped making them meaning he needs ot organise a group buy to get some

I also noticed this on ebay !

In norway there is noe a lot of fiat aftermarket spare parts from cars like coupe 20vt etc. And there is not easy to get engineered caliper mounting brackets and so !

And this kit is pretty bolt on, with all that you need ( not included steel brake lines and pads ) so this will surely increase the price by maybe £60-70 !

And with the shipping to norway this kit will cost me over £400 ! And that is a lot of money, more than i payed for my car :D

So is this kit worth it ?

Or is there any cheaper mods to ? And then i mean not to change the disks to grooved/drilled and change the brake pads.. Thinking of getting bigger discs and bigger calipers, with steel brake lines and fast road/trackday pads !
