Uno Turbo serious doubts!!

I guys im from Portugal and im thinking to buy a car, well ive decid over to cars, Fiat Uno Turbo MK2/Racing or a Suzuki Swift Gti.
Well im needing help, because i dont know wich to choose to buy, weel thats because im so afaraid i go and buy an Uno, and then puff, lots and lots of problemas, and one thing i dont want is to pay a car with a credit and not having that car because it pasts more time in the garage that it past in the street, well if i buy a Uno i will Buy a Mk2 or Racing Model, like 1992, 1993 or a 1994 model, with aproximatly 122.000km on the wheels, well can you advice me what car to choose??
My only problem its having afraid that the car dont last 60.000km longer, well by the other way Swift Gti is a weel knowed car, it lasts an eternity, and its a equilibrated Car.
Weel i would apreciate any help, Thanks in advance an sorry about my bad english.

Bushboy has donated!
My uno had 67000miles on the clock (bout 110,000KM i think) and it was a perfect runner (if not a little slow, but it was only the 999cc version).

The look of the uno is much nicer than the swift so on looks i would go for the uno. as far as reliablility goes, if you treat it right, ital do the same back. Just make sure the car hasnt been thrashed by the previous owner of you might be in for some problems. just give it a good check over before you buy. a lower mileage is great too... just make sure its genuine

Cinq Sporting
1.1L engine
K&N 57i kit
Sparkrite alarm system.
Standard all the rest.
