This is my fiat uno turbo. It was first registered at 01.01.1986.

It has 1,3l engine R4 about 82kws, 1301cc, turbo boost lifter +/-, brand new fuel pressore hose, brand new "toothed engine belt", brand new quality oil + oil filter + fuel filter, new breaking liquid.

Hood pins, new smoke side lights at the front, overpainted rear light which I don't like at all, lots of bulbs replaced, foglights at front and at the back, sun roof, mono screenwiper, dark windows at the back, done lots of rust elimination and paintings, it has only a few dotts of rust at the moment, still I want to respray it in spring. 3rd braking light with 28 leds.

13" wheels with Firestone tyres + somekind of beauty shields. 4x discbreaks, new breaking discs at the back, new breaking blocks all over the car, new breaking hoses all over the car, front axle repaired, new exhaust system: new pipe with larger diameter from the engine to the end, new pipe pins and it ends with sport pipe doing some extra sound by Roadstar, no resonator.

Zebra style seat covers. Sport seats are quite worn so I don't know what other seats may fit in perfectly:( Digital clock, seat light etc. Trunk can be opened from a stick near to the driver's seat. Central locking including all 3 doors, Cheetah signalisation, locking and unlocking from the remote control. Steering wheel mechanical locking, aluminium gear shift knob with 6 blinking diods:p. Footmats from Porsche, still need original Fiat ones.

2x150 w SPL component speakers with tweeters and crossovers, SPL 6 channel and 1200w amplifier which costs a lot :worship: . Dual xb110s subwoofer with 10" bass element and curved glass with two air flow holes. Subwoofer will take half of the trunk's space:(. And then an Audiola CD player which supports all formats: including DVDs and most usable CD-Rs and CD-RWs + mp3. At the moment all these audio components sit at my home under the table and just wait to be put in. I need to find some speakers to the trunk cover, then the system is perfect and ready to be fitted in. At the moment I have 2 Pioneer 2x120w coaxial speakers built in the trunk cover and somekind of old cassette player. Of course I must do a sound isolation in the doors. It goes to the garage soon to get repaired, engine needs some things to be done.

A nice car and quite in a perfect condition : fast, nice looking, tecnically alright etc, what else should I want. The biggest problem at the moment is the turbo. The old one was so wrecked that I decided to take it off and throw a way. So it has no turbo power and is slow :( The new IHI one costs 12 000.- Estonian crowns or about 800 euros. But have to buy this new one someday anyway. Soon when I get some money I should try to deal the problem with electrical windows. I would aprriciate putting some 15" wheels with 195/45 tyres under the car, but I am not sure if they fit so easily.

If you have tips and problems and ideas or just comments then feel free to write.:D

I think it looks like a 60s and think its in desperate need of lowering and a set of 15's.

If the paint is original and it is in a good condition as suggested by the photo, I would not touch it! It also seems that there is still an original sticker on the doors, which I would not touch as well!!!
I would only try to get the real Abarth accessories - sideskirts and rear window deflector (I saw them at German E-bay and they look great compared to those Hormann tasteless jokes) plus original 13" Abarth alloys, leather steering wheel etc.
But, then again, I am a purist :)

original abarth 13" alloy steel wheels I do have in the garage, but they were worn and twisted:S
original leather steering wheel is there on the car at the moment, no plans for changing that. but this wheel http://cgi.ebay.com/VALELUNGA-Metal...6QQihZ011QQcategoryZ40195QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem looks hella tight.

I don't think it is the original color, because where the paint is worn some red paint can be seen. so the previous owner maybe roughly overpainted the car or it just is some under colour or whatever. At the long distance and from the pictures the paint looks good indeed, but the closer look isn't so funny after all. on the driver's side, the side we can't see from the picture is a few very ugly paint dots. But it is quie ok of course, no doubt about that.

15" wheels would be great, but all these extensions make these wheel caves smaller. I am not sure if 15" will fit there that easyly, maybe sometimes 14" can do. About the lowering: I think it is not necessary. It seems quite high from the picture, but in real the car stands like about 15cm of the ground and thats enough. Roads aren't in good condition.

I think getting original parts is tough, have to use something other and handy instead. hmm. Yep but original stickers are there too, I personally don't like them at all :D but will see.

Well it's definitely a good start and good on you for writing a novel about your car (y)

Personally I think that the bumper top parts and wheelarch flares would look better in black - at the moment, it's hard to see if they're there at all :) The radiator grille should be body-coloured on a Turbo.

But the number one priority needs to be to give your Uno a turbo again... suggest you look on eBay until you find a standard turbo for sale, since they are usually quite long-lived in my experience (hard to blow them up in standard form).

Do you have other FIATs hanging around in scrapyards that you can perhaps find some wheels off? E.g. FIAT Croma Turbo wheels (14", but look exactly like Uno Turbo wheels) would be a good choice. Or maybe Lancia Thema wheels.

195/45/15 does fit, quite easily. But you don't want the rims to be too wide - 6.5" is best. This modification is mainly for looks, since it has been proved to me on a circuit that the 13" wheels work better anyway.

As for seats, my preference is black mesh-look seat covers, which can be made to fit really well and look more-or-less standard. They come up from time to time in department stores, but the frustrating thing is that department stores are forever changing the seat covers that they stock, so you have to take them when you can :) see attached pic

I like it. Just the wheeltrims are horrible... well maybe the wheels, too.
I like the colour, colour coding & rear lights... and the graphics. original exhaust, too.

It just doesen't look like a real turbo, maybe ur models are different over there.....
Ur dash looks totaly different and the side graphic looks like it's been stuck on over another one..
Looks good thou mate..

the rear lamps are just horrible, huh got rid of them a while ago luckily. And the dash is like any ther MK1's, will post some pics from the inside. The wheels and trims are not good, yes I agree :( but don't have money to get something better.

Looks nice thou mate, all it needs is some good wheels and some lowering springs, if u ask on here some one might do a photo shop for you and stick some wheels on it so u can see what it will be like... i hope less with photoshop... (n)

He ain't got MK2. I think he's trying to make himself out to being more exclusive than he is... heh...

The only running Uno Turbo owner in 100 miles... shouldn't that account for something???

have never ever seen another UT round here. The sticker is not on another one :p but if that could be removed, it would look much better I think. And dragyth what should that account then ?
