Posts: 435 Thanks: 0 Trader Rating: 0 | Re: alloy header tank Well he had a uno turbo on ebay for sale, the black one with the cam taken out of it don't know if you remember it bout 3 weeks ago..# Any way we got talking and he said if you gave him a pateren he would make it outta stainless steel or alloy and he gave me his e mail.. he called damian and his e mail is cookwelding@hotmail.co.uk he doesent know me by person but we had a chat via e mail and he has some very rare uno's or so he say's. reackons a a-reg turbo ? Any way bud mail him with your requests and see what he says.. keep posted

Turbo were launched in 1985 so he cant have a 1983 Turbo i remember that UT on ebay, only had the 1 i think? My old standard header tank split and spat all over the battery when the engine was running! £54 for a new plastic one

I'm interested to know bcoz i want to replace these hoses with samco ones, and I dont want to find out when I get round to replacing my header tank with one of these alloy ones that the hoses are the wrong size... Would b an epic fail

Posts: 81 Thanks: 3 Trader Rating: 0 | Re: alloy header tank Thanks for that Louie, I'm 95% sure i got the bore dimensions right for those hoses in my last post 16mm pipe for the turbo flow return and 8mm for the rad sound right to you? I'm umm'n and are'n coz im not sure if the rad return should be 9.5mm? tbh I cant see it making alot of difference job done!
