fiat uno stalling

Hello everyone,

Have a huge prob with my fiat uno 1990 car. I was on my way to put petrol in my car and it stalled and didnt start up again. So I think it must have collected all the debris from the bottom of the petrol tank and is now clogging up system. Is there anyway that you could somehow flush out the system?

thanks

p.s can one do it their self?

Did it actualy run out of petrol? if so it will take a lot of turning over before the petrol reaches the front of the car again, don't pump the throtle though as this will flood it.

If it was flodded yesterday it should have unflooded by now, if not try putting throtle straight to the floor then turn the engine over and very slowly lift the throtle off up at the same time.
