Exclamation Exhaust - which one ????

Alrite chapps

Been looking under my turbo today and noticed a rather rotten exhaust, bit holey in places.
Where can i get a brand new stainless steel exhaust from? I'd like a full system from turbo right to the back box. my old turbo had a mild steel jaspeed system on it and sounded barky... just rite me thinks..
It's up for mot in a 2 weeks time so i need it quick, while i got the exhaust off ill paint the whole underneath in underseal so it should be nice and protected on those wet winter days.
Im taking pic's as i go along ill post some up when i'm done polishing..
So any idea's on a good exhaust not a power flow one

Re: Exhaust - which one ????

Some powerflow dealers dont make the best quality exhaust but i've had one for years and know friends that have system and we have all be content with them.

A lot of aftermarket systems are not the full 2.5" and of course powerflow will make you what ever you want...

Re: Exhaust - which one ????

just buy something you really like and let some mechancis fit it under. No need to put the original one down there. I have my turbo uno's exhaust a way different. a sport exhaust pipe doing some extra sound + wider diameter pipe all the way to the engine, no resonator and improved pipe pins. But at the members gallary section I have no pics from my car behind

Re: Exhaust - which one ????

Here is a pic of the exhaust was told by Demon Tweaks it is designed for a non-cat Mk2 hence why I bought it. Brand new never used. I'm hoping it is reasonably well silenced.

Re: Exhaust - which one ????

Yep, that's modest compared with mine

The pipe diameter (less than 2.75") will avoid the thundering drone inside the car that mine has, and will also avoid clearance issues with the rear beam.

Hope you have no problems matching it up to the front section - I hate working with exhaust connections!
