Hi Chaps,

Does anyone know what's involved in converting the brakes on a standard Uno to those of a turbo. Do the calipers just bolt straight on or do they require special adapters like Duncs Brembos. Obviously need discs and pads. Are the brakelines the same?

Sorry for all the questions!

Thanks
Trevor

Cheers for the info guys! Which cars have the same calipers as the UT, i.e. TIPO etc. Just wanting to know what to look out for.

I've often wondered that. I would have thought that FIAT fitted the same calipers to larger models in the range rather than having them unique to the turbo. Maybe the Regatta? Strada? Tipo/ Tempra, Delta?

Rather than paying a fortune for some shagged out turbo calipers (just because they came from a turbo) the same calipers might be available on more average larger models for low prices?

Maybe looking on Eper might bring up some interesting results!
