As far as I know, the turbo models both Mk1 and Mk2 use double ventilated discs, due to larger engine. This leads to another wheel offset, and you will not be able to use your (very nice I think) fox alloy wheels - they'll come too far out. My alloys are from a Fiat Ritmo (UK: Strada) Abarth 130 TC (if anyone knows it) with huge double ventilated discs at the front. The offset differs about one inch from the single disc'ed not TC Ritmo.

Morten. Please correct me anyone if I'm wrong.

Abarth alloys. Inter Alloy lowering. Phoenix Gold & Kenwood audio. Abarth steering wheel. Insane Dalmatian door and seat refurnishing

Projects: K&N induction kit, racing seats, exhaust, window tinting.

You can't use vented discs with standard calipers, and if your calipers sit as close to the wheel as the ones on my girlfriends Panda do (similar calipers to the ones found on regular Unos) theres no way you can squeeze the much bigger calipers for the vented discs in there. But since you have aftermarket wheels, it would be worth a bit of investigating to see if it all could be done. But I cannot stress enough that standard calipers simply don't have enough width to take vented discs. Besides, standard Uno calipers are designed for 227 mm discs (in diameter) and Uno Turbos use 240 mm ones.

I've just checked it on Ebay and they are listed as Red Dot/TarOx... which is about the same as a big sign telling u to step away from the deal. The 1st thing you could read when you went into the TarOx english website about a month ago was a big banner stating that TarOx and Red Dot is NOT the same thing, unlike some ppl tried to make their customers believe.

Bushboy,

Our little Unos are neither fast enough nor heavy enough with a 999cc engine to warrent all round discs or oversized front discs!

I bet you could get a Uno turbo for about the cost x 3 of adding rear discs!

You can't fit the discs on the rear stock axle...you need to swap the whole one from a Turbo modelB)!The same problem occurs for the front brakes:the Turbo calipers (and discs) can't be fitted on the standard hub carriers, so you need to swap them:)
