(G) Its Gone!!!

well they have picked up the uno and its gone i got 122 for it they pointed out the fiat forum stickers so might come on they told me they want to do gull wing doors on it lol

probably be on with battery problems 1st

Yes, now it's ours!!! Now that you have our money, what is the problem with the battery before we work it out for ourselves...
Also, we replaced the blown fuses and it works a lot better now

What are we going to do with it? Why are we called "Afrika Corpse"?

We're going on the Plymouth-Bamako rally at the end of the year (Google search = Plymouth Banjul)

i'd compile a gathering of all the problem threads for this car...but i'm not immortal so don't have the time....

the battery is donkies years old just needs a new one £20 from a motor factors, its a good motor lhd uno with years mot go for around £700 as people get them to leave at their holiday homes in spain. so you got a good bargain realy

Cheers. I already have a good spare battery so I'll check that out first.
I have to say, it drove home very nicely indeed. This is the 3rd Uno I've had now and it seems to be as good as I remember the others being.
This is what needs doing right now:

• Replace missing air filter box
• Replace spare tyre
• Troubleshoot battery (if spare doesn't fix)
• Replace the rear windscreen washer valve
• Replace license plate light
• Troubleshoot horn (doesn't work)

I'll post some pictures of it in it's new home soon.
