| Blowing Tank WHen I go and fill up with petrol,while opening the fuel cap, it is pushed out by air!!Is this normal!? I have to check though if it is sucking or blowing...but anyhow is this normal!?

| Uno no longer with us! | Re: Blowing Tank I have a fuel tank with a leak (anyone near merseyside with a spare let me know!) The air you hear is rushing in as the tank pulls a vacumn which is normal especially if you have been ragging round! Also this is why my tank leaks when i have taken the plug out or when the car has been stood for a few days because it looses its vacumn Don't worry all cars pull a vacumn - are pressured (unless they have a swirl tank) but thats another matter!!! Will.
