Anyone interested in my Uno?

I have my girlfriend's old Uno to get rid of as soon as possible. I have filled up my garage, and the drive, and have run out of spaces to put all my "project" cars!

The full advert is here
http://www.fiatforum.com/classifieds...p?product=2852

I really need to shift this car, and it would be a shame to see it be crushed

Must be of use to someone either as an easy repair and runabout, or for a spare for parts

Err - isn't it a hydraulic clutch matey? If I Recall, All UK Unos with a catalytic converter should be . Different story with left hookers.

Could be the master or slave cylinder has gone.

If clutch fluid around the peddles, it's the Master.

If fluid on top of the gearbox, it's the slave. I have a spare one which is OK, but I'm 200 odd miles away. They arn't too expensive from http://www.shop4parts.co.uk/.

What's the clutch fluid level in the reservoir like? (As mounted to the driver's side inner wing).

Good Luck!

Regards,
Louie Bee.

Re: Anyone interested in my Uno?

Don't want to be the bearer of bad news but in my eyes that is probably the least attractive Uno you could own - white, 5 door, Mk2, 1.0, can't be driven, damaged.

Best place for it is ebay - spares or repair. Fingers crossed you don't get a 0 rated muppet bidding on it.

Not seen any fluid leaking anywhere to be honest. Would go look in the reservoir but is pouring with rain so don't feel like walking to the garage. Pretty certain there are no leaks though.

Thats a bit harsh

Not to my taste either though to be honest. Thats why i though it might be useful to someone to use as parts.

Was considering eBay, but by the time i've paid listing fee and final value doubt i'll even be in profit.

Well if no-one wants the car then i will be willing to break for individual parts. I'll check the condition of the bits you've said and let you know if you are interested

I'm not being harsh just realistic. If you break it that is a hassle and then you've still got to get rid of the shell. List it on ebay, £6, you'll get £50 and it's off your hands.

Was only joking mate. I know it's not really a great car anymore

I doubt i'd even get £50 for it TBH judging by interest on here, and then final value of £15 and listing fee of £6 means i've spent £21 before even starting. Could sell a few parts to get that money, and someone must want the engine!!!!

It was the best 1L car i've ever driven, was really nippy - i had to check it hadn't had a different engine put in when i bought it

Plus point is the engine bay as it looks very clean to me.

Yeah i know. No major leaks as far as i can tell

Would hate to see it go, would rather sell the engine for a silly price than scrap it
