Is it possible?

Hi
Bit of a random question this SORRY!!

Do you think it would be possible to find a mint mk1 uno (non turbo) or would it be a fruitless search?
Cheers
Adrian

Re: Is it possible?

Its not impossible mate but you would have to search high and low throughout the country, i'm sure somewhere theres loads of unos and uno turbos sitting in some old ladys garage hidden away from the rest of the world. I've seen quite a few tidy looking late mark 1 models flying around my area. Chas owns a pretty tidy mark 1 himself.

Re: Is it possible?

I saw a mint mk1 45 for sale on Ebay last year. 30,000 miles, one little lady owner, nearly perfect condition. It went for £300

Why are you asking? Are you trying to find one for a turbo re-shell?

seriously though, may take a little hunting, you will find these gems all over the place, although might be a little tougher for you as you're tucked away down in the west....good luck!

I'm pretty sure it does as many people change the mark 1 front end into a mark 2 so it must be possible to do it vice versa as well. You would need to change the bonnet, wings, headlights, indicators and grille. You would also have to remove the plastic scuttle panel on the mark 2 as the mark 1s dont have them.
The mark 1 tail gate can also be fitted to the mark 2 but you will need to change the tail lights as well and i think the hinges are slightly different, dunc can tell you more about this as he has done it on his mark 2.

And Jai & Chas what the hell did you guys do to that poor uno??? Lol

And are you going to say how much it cost?

By the way, do you remember that though you bought it off Ebay, you didn't have any change on you and I was the one that ended up paying for it?!!!!!!!!

So that means all the bits you got are mine Actually, you ended up giving me the bonnet so we're pretty square on the deal. And as everyone can see from this picture, I didn't exactly go away empty handed
