Hello to all of you people, I am new on this forum. I bought before 1 month Uno 1.0 ieS (999 FIRE engine), and have problem with leaking/loosing of coolant... I can see a fluid like a water (coolant?) going out from exhaust of Uno. What do you think what is problem? Is it head gasket ?

Thx

Possibly, but if it happens only for a short period of time after starting/before warmup of the engine, it may simply be humidity condensating in the exhaust piping.
Before digging into inner parts of the engine, make sure you are not losing coolant from the piping - the junctions of rubber hoses behind the radiator are known to leak.
If there are white salt-like deposits on their junctions, then they leak.
Good luck (y) !

I am pretty sure that its happening all the time while engine works, but I will check behind the radioator, before anything else...

Thx in advice

Hello again,

I am pretty sure that my head gasket is blown, so im about to change it on Saturday. I am about to change oil and oil filter too, so i dont know what kind of key (and what size) do I need to unbolt oil sump bolt. And if someone have any suggestions and tips concerning head gasket change please post it here.

Thx

You will need 12-mm Allen key for the sump bolt, same as for the gearbox oil control/discharge bolts.
It is also a good idea to have some red (oil-resistant) silicone around, the copper seal under the bolt may need "re-sealing".
Good luck with the gasket - I never performed this job, so other members will be wiser(y)

Wow, silly me, I must have, indeed, missed something here  !
I thought the question about "oil sump bolt" was "what is the size of the key to be used to release a plug in the sump to discharge the engine oil". That, indeed, is 12-mm Allen.
Sorry for any confusion caused :( .

(CZ)enda you were right. I was asking about that key, and thx for help , now im gonna buy that 12-mm key instead of whole set.
And I am gona use old head bolts for tightening head...
