Hi all,

Just a quick query about the anti rattle clips (as shown below) which are fitted to the front brake pads.

No end of rattling and clicking noises due to these being missing or incorrectly installed .

As far as I know the anti rattle clips are supplied in sets of four (some still around on eBay) so does this mean one per pad and two for each side, making four used in total?

Also, is the clip fitted to the bottom or top of the brake pad in each case (had a look at one or two previous threads/posts but still not sure) ?

There are some anti rattle clips on eBay which should do the job though I'm not sure where they fit on the pad (bottom, top or at both ends) and how many go on each pad (ie 1 or 2). This was my original question/thread starter but I haven't received a reply so far....

Perhaps I can answer the query myself as in one of my old threads I said the brake pad rattle was cured by having two clips per pad (eight in total). Saying that I've only seen kits with 4 clips.

Do you have any previous experience of fitting these clips yourself?
