Hi All,

Though mine is a 1990 Fiorino Panorma, it has the 1.5 ie (149c1) engine. It used to run last summer ok, but started to develop starting problems when hot. She was put into storage for half a year, and now it doesn't start. New plugs, cables, distributor, rotor - still nothing. The mix seems to be too rich and tweeking ignition doesn't seem to help.
Next is timing check but no appropriate pics, drawings etc are available.

Searched for a workshop/service manual for the engine/monojetronic ECU/timing and such but the Internet ran out of information - could anybody suggest a link or simply give a few hints how to get along. The engine has quite a low mileage (47,800 kms) so it shouldn't be any major problem I guess...

Thanks for any help!

Zoltan

A worn butterfly valve sensor is a common fault. Cables to the ECU module in the cabins footroom may corrode and break. Broken sensors make the engine run bad. Usualy the BOSCH system is very stable and starts in any situation. Battery must be in good condition.
