Hi,
I had a problem when driving the car it’s difficult to put gear, so I replaced clutch plate and pleasure plate. Now gear issue is over but the car is very slow and it’s doesn’t pick up properly, difficult to drive drive. It would be appreciated if anybody could advise me.

fuel injected or Carb.??,

does it start and idle well - if so - that will help diagnosis,

Thanks for your kind reply. My car is a petrol one [Fiat Uno IE 1.0 cc, 1995]. The car is original fuel injector but my car has converted to a curbulature[Uno 45 crab]

My mechanical guy believe its problem with pleasure plate. still car not moving properly.

so it's an IE ,but fitted with a carburettor..,
no great issue, as VERY similar in basic function..,

I guess the mechanic means the CLUTCH pressure plate..??

does the engine start and idle ( "tick-over") correctly?,

Exactly, yes, mechanic guessed the problem may be pressure plate.
We changed a new pressure plate and clutch plate. But after my car got completely mess. She doesn’t pick up very well. Only the accelerator racing but car not moves properly.
As you mentioned the engine dose start and idle.

to get the carburettor and engine set up properly look at posts in the Classic panda section.., as it's the same engine.

fix engine before worrying about clutch DRIVE issue..,

Thanks for the reply I changed a new silencer then repaired the curb, after changed an original Italy pressure plate. Now my problem is over. But my battery is not charging when the car running.
Please let me know what is the right margin to tune the carb?
