SOME BASTARD HAS NICKED MY CAR!!!

Fiat Uno 1.0ie Start - White - Reg No. L360 FCW

When out for drinks last night with friends in Hull and stayed at theirs, when I woke up this morning it had gone!

Absolutely gutted, just spent loads on it, new clutch, brake pads and starter motor. I was in the process of doing it up.

Any info help would be appreciated.

IF I FIND WHO'S TAKEN IT I WILL CUT THEIR THROAT AND DUMP THEM IN THE RIVER!!!

Cheers

Cheers guys, good news the police rang this morning at 3.35am, car found only about 3 to 4 miles away from where it was taken!

It's been recovered and taken nearly 15 miles away for forensics, I can collect tomorrow, they said it looks like ignition damage only???
I'll keep you informed, need to sort out with the insurance as after speaking to them today, they were going to write it off just because of a broken ignition???
I've got £100 excess so I may as well just fix it myself!

Sounds about right, some would have already paid out by now with stolen vehicles.

Like you say, if its just the ignition, withdraw the claim and fix yourself (y)

Good to hear its been found semi-alive. I had the same happen a couple of years ago while i was in hospital.

Expect the drivers door to be bent out or the lock to have been broken, & the ignition lock to have been snapped off.

Also, get a Metro Stoplock, thats what I have in all my pre-immobiliser cars since my Uno`s break in. You should be able to pick one up locally on ebay for about a tenner.

Trying to find some parts if anyone can help??
I need the Steering Column that has the ignition barrel in it, this part!

Can anyone help???

The long aluminium barrel part that the ignition barrel fits in to, I think it's called the Steering Lock Assembly????
