rougher than a badgers bottom....

so finally the neglect has caught up with the tub, and she's popping, burping and farting her way all over the place...so booked into the garage on monday for a good going over for the last time till she goes into my garage for a dunc/chas style strip down and rebuild (after 16 years hard use deserves a rest and face lift!) otherwise won't stand a hope in hell of making it to gaydon, on the cards:

cam belt
fuel filters
oil filter
spark plugs
rotor arm
dizzy cap
coolant and oil flush
possible all round pads change (standard this time as only for about 5 months)
tune up
and any other niggly crappy jobs we find, and i'm sure she'll come up with a few......

People, staff meeting has been cancelled. You all have one goal today: to get Vincent Chase’s brother, Johnny Chase, a job. Any job! I don’t care if it’s a porn shoot in which he is being gang raped by a gaggle of silverback apes, if there are cameras rolling, everybody wins. 10 grand for anyone that can deliver this to me, today.

HT leads change - to prevent future jerking and dismantling of the whole engine before thinking of them as the cause...

Re: rougher than a badgers bottom....

cheers all, didnt think of ht and brake fluid..will do now though, as for the mk2 front, not really my thing, as you will see at gaydon she has a lot of rust, flat patches hanging on bumpers and very tired paint work, so strip it and rip it, and build her out again, i will be tapping chas for a full wiring and dashboard job as he makes it look very easy!
