(G) ACE Cafe 14th July - Anyone going?

Ok everyone, I'm going to the Ace Cafe tomorrow night (Thursday 14th) for the Italian car meet. Anyone else going? Be nice to get some Unos there, and I hope to get there before 7pm depending on traffic.

Fro$ty, you could always bring your car on a trailer! Turboned and TS86, are you guys coming down too? Anyone else?

i'll be there, dunno bout the mrs though, she's feigning tiredness....sigh, might nick the panda as way of punishment!

Well, only me and Turboned managed to make it to the last Ace Cafe Italian Car meet, and I was the only Uno there! Turboned turned up in the new Panda as it had air conditioning while the turbo didn't!

Very good turn out of Italian cars (the car park was packed at one point), including some 16 valve Tipos, lots of Alfas, Fiat 500's, Lancia Delta Integrales, an X1/9, and even an Alfa Montreal (yum!) But virtually no Fiat Forum members from what I could see. Just a couple of Puntos and surprisingly no Cinquecentos or Seicentos.

I tried to get the word out by posting in each individual car forum last week, but apparently that wasn't allowed and all the postings bar the one in events got deleted...

Louie agreed that the problem with just posting in the events section is that a lot of people don't see it. Most members normally only go to the section that covers their car, so it seems that the word isn't getting out.

For next month, let's try and get a good selection of Fiats down there. Anyone who posts in other sections of the FF please let people know. The Ace Cafe is an ideal location for London members and a great place for Fiat fans to get together, show off their cars and swap information.

Next one is on Thursday 11th August, from approx. 6pm onwards. Would be nice for my Uno to have some other Unos for company next time!

Maybe Fro$ty will have his turbo back together, and TS86, thought you were going to come along for the last one?

Anyway, I'll post a reminder nearer the time in the Uno section and also the events section. If anyone knows other Fiat owners then encourage them to come down too.
