(G) Uno Power

hi guys thought id post too let you know whats happening.

Well as you know my head gasket did go and cost me £320. I rang round other garages to see if i could get a lower price, but to my suprise this was actually cheaper than any other garage. Now since this my first little car and know very little about it (or any cars ) I was lookin through all the service history and i've found out that the previous 2 owners were women and looked after this car very very well. i added up all the recipts up £1200, so i didn't have the heart to scrap her or sell her. (bitten by the FIAT BUG mwwhahha)

So i thought id do my bit for her (sophie) and give her a new head gasket (she needed skimming twice and a little welding in a crack) aswell as put on my MKII Turbo Abarth Alloys on.

And i must say i'm absolutey over the moon with the way she sounds. My temperature guage is not hitting max any more and that loud but lovley fan is working now. She even has a little whistle to her so i thought to myself "dont really need a K&N bolt on", will just stick with my K&N element and either get a Uno Turbo exhaust or a 3" universal exhaust.

Now this bad point the spacers are far to fat according to the garage and i think they're right. Ive had them balanced, but shes vibrating. (at 70mph tiny bit, at 80mph a hell of a lot) really cant drive like this. Does anybody know the proper spacer measurement, i'll be greatful? She flew through her M.O.T which i was suprised.

Now my engine is sweet and juicy, next to the body - not looking to do anything major since shes only a 1.0 mambo. All i need is a Front bumper (white) and a new drivers (White) door since dirty rust is on it where the person before me banged the car on drivers door. Ive got ready for this - its been POLLYFILLER'd - that's what he filled the dent with and sprayed over it and ugly T-cut what a donut . So that will be coming off and me and my brother will go hunting down breakers yards and scrappers, never know i might find a bargin - bit gold digging never hurt no-one! (grab ya shovels boys )

For sounds (which if hooking up next week) just having a kenwood tape head set and kenwood 6x9's, and new front speakers since i chucked the old ones away since they were damaged.
