Does anyone else's uno groan randomly? Like car hasn't been driven for last 4 hours at least and just randomly Groan's. The groan last for about 2seconds and happens randomly throughout the night.. I have no idea where it's coming from because its really just that random I'm never around the car when it happens

Wheel bearings even tho car isn't moving.and hasn't been moving all night? Has always don't it for last three years I've owned the car I just wondered if it's a common uno thing

Yes! If you're talking about a mk1 Uno Turbo, then I remember the groan well. It's something to do with the fuel pressure leaking back through the damper assembly near the fuel tank. Since it's external to the fuel tank, the sound is louder than for other vehicles.

Yeah, I get that with my grey one, it sounds quite funny & it does it randomly, sometimes hours after it was parked.

As far as I can tell its from the fuel cap/filler neck/tank valve..

My uno is a mk2 60s does kind of sound like it could be the same sorta sound tho not necessarily fuel. It just makes me laugh at Night when I hear it go.. Makes me think he just doesn't like being parked up
