Hi guys,

I have a Uno 1372cc. Recently when starting it up, the accelerator pedal will stick to the floor and rev the engine like mad, I can lift the pedal back up with my foot and then it's fine. It's never happened while driving. Doesn't happen all the time, mostly when I haven't driven it for a day or so. But sometimes when I'm out and come back to it an hour later, it happens. Seems fairly random.

Is there any reason this could be happening that you might know of?

Hi. This happen to me, as i was driving my accelarator pedal used to get stuck. This carried on for about a week when it final snapped. Put a new one in good as new. Its must be a few strands of cable that is getting stuck on the plastic with-in the cable. Change it does not cost much.
