Thats right. In fact the uno mk1 1100cc gearbox should bolt straight on. Therefor you could use the original mountings for the gearbox and then you have to fit a new mounting for the engine on the front and modify either the mounting for the engine or the arm on the engine itself and use the factory mounting

money wise it's never worth it when you do a project. But the car has sentimental value for me and would never consider selling so I don't mind. You are right, it's very satisfying in the end. And it would be built to your liking
Hi I would restore the original uno turbo, as it was made as an UT in the factory and therefore liking the history but good choice either way gotta love the uno
The only thing is that none of them are UT from factory. so might as well go with mine even though the other one is ready and needs no work. If im still going to have an ut look alike not an actual one might as well do a full restore on mine and doing it to my liking i figured
