tjet is a fire engine, bolts right in place, same mounts and bellhousing pattern. Most stand alone ecus will run it fine, will make around 250hp on stock internals with no worries. Rods seem to pop in the 350-400nm mark around the bolt area and out of 4 failures i had they all make a hole in the block.

On a conversion forget the stock ecu and mta gearbox, both not very reliable on a tuned engine and drops the price by a lot, i run ms3 and a c530 gearbox, tried a c510 but had the usual issues with it at that power level.

costs about half as much to do as to get a 1242 to the same power level reliably and is more civilized to drive.

Did the C530 bolt up to the FIRE block?
