Re: need help getting a gasket!

Hi zonedemon,

Welcome to the Forum,

Try calling Michael at SHOP4PARTS 01274 734082 as the cam cover gasket you are after is not on their web page – Link at top of this page in advertise section – you may need to hit refresh till it appears.

Likewise for Fred’s daft screw/bolts.

Kind Regards,

Hi Again,

Please cut the shorthand, as our members whose first language isn’t English don’t like it.

With that aside, Try Desira on 01379 650111 of WWW.desiragroup.com

it will be ok to drive, but check it often so you dont run out, try motor factors for gasket

Re: need help getting a gasket!

If most of the old gasket is still there, use some instant gasket around it all (make sure head is clean from oil as is the gasket) then put back. Should reduce your oil leak quite alot untill you can source a new gasket

Re: need help getting a gasket!

Hi there,

I moved North 10 Years ago.

Rodney Rd was on my paper round – Cheers for the Tips if it was you LOL.

I lived on Nene Rd then Coxons Close. I live in Manchester at the Moment (See under my Avater).

I see your coming to Stanford Hall – best get the cam cover sorted! You don’t want the Spark plugs getting drowned in Oil Which way is it leaking – it’s not flowing into anywhere like say the flywheel? It really is a stitch in time with the Uno

http://www.ukwebstart.com/listfiat.html lists Fiat dealers in Peterborough, Cambridge and Bedford – your slap bang in the middle! I’d call and order one, as most dealers no longer have Uno parts in stock.

Anyways tell us more about the Uno Year, model, Mileage ect. You got any Pictures?
