Hi all,

Does anyone know of a Heater Matrix Blower and a coolent valve for a MRK 2 uno turbo? After 20 years of good use mine has finally decided to die...

Hi johorridoh, thanks for replying to my post, I have actually got the fan working (cleaned out the resistor block) only I have noticed that the fan in the cabin is sucking... Not blowing, which is interesting as the 12v plug that connects to the resistor block is keyed... I'll have to look into reversing the power to this later on in the week good times!

I think this happens if you somehow get the magnets in the motor reversed, or the brush holder flipped over. That would suck.

You wanted a "heater matrix blower" but you now have a "heater matrix sucker". With the heater on demist it would suck all the cold air from the inside of the windscreen, heat it, and blow lovely warm air into that space under the bonnet, I'm sure the mice that live there would appreciate that.

If only you knew how many hours it took me to strip it all out, clean and paint the water ways, rebuild it all and then fit it back into place... lol, im still not sure how I could reverse a fans direction by simply moving the magnetic housing over infact im sure thats not possible. I'll have to swap the 12v feed to the resistor block because there is no way that i'm taking it all apart again if all else fails I guess i'll have the only uno in the whole world thats a sucker... not a blower lol, epic!
